We are a team of IT professionals who grew up in Shivamogga, the beautiful little Malenadu town nurtured and nourished by the mighty Tunga river. This town has given us so much, and we have been wanting to give back to Shivamogga.
However, although we have wanted to donate and give to the people in need, we have been hesitant because we have been unsure how to donate and even if we do, whether it will reach the right people. It occurred to us that there could be several people facing such a dilemma. While one hand, there are thousands of people struggling without basic amenities, there are thousands who are capable of giving but do not give due to the lack of transparency in the process of giving and taking.
Shivamogga Online is a labour of our love for our town. Here is a platform that will help people contribute to the welfare of their fellow townsfolks with complete transparency and confidence.
We believe that when given wholeheartedly, even the smallest amount makes a lot of difference. Our objective is to create an ecosystem of giving and receiving with the head held high.
